I’m excited for the 2024/2025 year at the Simon School Venture Fund (SSVF).
This year’s squad includes 84 talented team members comprised of 10 Due Diligence Teams, 2 Strategic Partnership Teams, 1 Portfolio Team, and 1 Deal Sourcing Team. University of Rochester – Simon Business School University of Rochester.

SSVF is dedicated to early-stage investments in innovative companies with ties to the University of Rochester and Rochester, NY, from tech to sustainability-focused ventures. Our recent investments span fintech, edtech, and digital health—focusing on ventures with high growth and impact potential.
SSVF is more than an investment fund; it’s an experiential learning platform, equipping students with essential skills in venture capital, strategic analysis, and finance. We’re also committed to diversity, supporting underrepresented founders and fostering an inclusive analyst team.
The fund currently invests in more than 20 portfolio companies with this year’s portfolio spanning a diverse range of businesses, each pursuing new avenues for growth and innovation.
